Laura Miller, LCPC, R-DMT
OCD & Anxiety Therapist

You've already tried
really hard to feel better.

You've gone to therapy. You've gained insight. You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, learned the coping skills. Maybe you've tried medication, meditation, exercise, hormones, supplements—or spent a little too much time wondering whether Mercury is retrograde.

You're good at figuring things out. That's probably part of how you've gotten this far.

But lately, figuring it out has become part of the problem.

You replay conversations. Research one more thing. Ask for reassurance. Question whether you're overreacting. Try to make the right decision. Tell yourself you should know better by now. And somehow, the more you try to get certain, the less you trust yourself.

You're not looking for more insight just for the sake of insight. You want something to actually change.

Therapy should have a direction.

This is specialized care with a clear beginning, an individualized plan, measurable progress, and regular decisions about whether you still need treatment.

We’ll figure out what we’re working with, decide what we’re targeting, and build a plan around you. We’ll track your progress along the way, talk openly about what’s working and what isn’t, and adjust when we need to.

The goal isn’t to keep you in therapy.

The goal is to help you get what you came for.

You don't have to
figure out what you need before you get here.

Start Here

You don't need to know whether this is OCD, anxiety, burnout, a life transition—or exactly what kind of therapy you need. That's what we'll figure out together.

CLARITY & STRATEGY SESSION
We start by getting clear.

90 minutes

Our first session gives us time to slow things down and look carefully at what you've been experiencing. We'll talk through your symptoms, history, what's already been tried, and what you most want to change.

When appropriate, I'll use a specialized assessment to help clarify whether OCD is part of the picture and whether something else may need our attention, too. From there, we'll talk through my recommendations and begin building a treatment plan that fits you.

You won't just leave knowing what I think.
We'll make space for what it means to you,
what you're feeling about it,
and what you're ready for next.

WHAT TREATMENT CAN LOOK LIKE

A plan you can actually see.

Most clients begin with a 12-session treatment plan, but the plan serves you—not the other way around. Your treatment, pace, and frequency are based on what you need, what’s helping, and what feels doable for you.

01 CLARIFY
Understand what we're treating
and establish a starting point.

02 PLAN
Choose treatment goals and
build an individualized plan together.

03 WORK
Learn and practice the skills
that help change the patterns
keeping you stuck.

04 MEASURE
Track progress throughout treatment so we're not guessing whether it's working.

05 DECIDE
Reassess together:
finish, continue with purpose, or step down to maintenance.

Serious about the work.
Human about everything else.

I’m Laura Miller, LCPC, R-DMT. I’ve spent more than a decade helping people understand—and change—the patterns that keep them stuck. I’ve also completed more than 500 hours of specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard behavioral treatment for OCD. I believe good therapy can be evidence-based without feeling like a drag. I'll teach you what I know, tell you what I'm noticing, laugh with you when things get weird, and be honest with you when anxiety is trying to pull you back into the same old loop.

You already know how to explain the problem beautifully. Now you need someone who knows what to do with it.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT
BE WONDERING

Do I need to know if I have OCD before we meet?
No. You don't need to diagnose yourself or figure out what kind of therapy you need before you get here. That's part of what we'll explore in your Clarity & Strategy Session.

Do I have to commit to all 12 sessions?
No. Most clients begin with a 12-session treatment plan because it gives us enough structure to do meaningful work and evaluate your progress.

Twelve sessions is a framework, not a requirement.

We'll track your progress and make decisions about frequency and continued treatment together.

Can I use my insurance?
Unbound is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance. All fees are listed above, so you'll know what your care costs from the start.
